Job Description

• Participate in all aspects of product design from concept through system design, component design (hardware & software), component testing, system testing ad successful production
• Design and coordinate complex Software Projects with many parts (custom hardware, custom software, 3rd party hardware & 3rd party software) that interact extensively with one another
• Develop and document system software designs as well as Test Plans
• Develop and document Interface protocols between G3T developed elements and 3rd party or customer elements
• Assist in the integration and system level testing of all parts of a system until it is working smoothly

Job Qualifications

• BS or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
• Project Leadership Experience

Candidates should also possess strong familiarity with one or more of the following

• Telecommunication Layer 3 Message parsing and processing
• Object oriented programming concepts & languages such as C++ and/or Java
• Time sensitive embedded data streaming and storage
• Real Time Embedded systems development
• Handheld (PDA, cell phone) SW development
• Embedded Controller (ARM, 8051 type) SW development
• Limited availability, limited bandwidth communication conduit control and data interfacing

The following skills are also highly desired and are considered a plus

• Multi-threaded/Multi-process software development
• Linux based embedded processing
• Telecommunication protocols (GSM, UMTS, WCDMA, etc.)
• ISO-7816 Interface Development
• VITA-49 Interface Development
• DSP programming/Signal Processing Theory
